Sophomore Class Meeting SOPHOMORES: Come to Ms. Lopez's Room 6 on Wednesday, September 8th during Lunch for a class meeting to discuss fund raising plans for the year. The meeting will begin at 12:25 pm. Make a difference! Be there.

Referees Needed For Trinity Youth Soccer League The Trinity Youth Soccer League is recruiting referees for the Weaverville youth games. This is an excellent opportunity to help the youth sports program and earn some money. If you are interested, contact Mrs. Knight.

Nestles Youth Competition Nestles Very Best In Youth Competition is now on and open to all youth ages 13-18. They are looking for 25 young people who make a profound impact on lives other than their own. Winners will receive an all expenses paid trip to L.A. to the Nestles Very Best In Youth awards ceremony. October SAT Test SENIORS: If you plan to apply to CalPoly San Luis Obispo, San Diego State or CSU Long Beach, you must take the October SAT test if you have not already done so. This is the last test they will accept. The deadline to register is September 10th. Contact the Counseling Center if you have any questions. The test will be given at Central Valley High School.

Scholarships For Seniors SENIORS: Scholarship opportunities are starting to come in. Right now we have the Wendy's High School Heisman and Horatio Alger scholarships open.
